Heritage Village West Gate Access

Neighborhood members recently let us know they preferred the Member Access Gate entry to be located on the western side of the Village. We are happy to inform you that the Member Access Gate is now located across from the Ambassador Hotel, within the small circular parking lot along St. Paul street. The Gate is located just north of the yellow farmhouse (also known as The Learning Lounge) and has a handy keypad lock.

Be sure to have your card with you, as the security guard will ask for proof of membership.

The Gate is open 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

Please also note that the circular parking lot across from the Ambassador has chains up during the day, preventing cars from parking in that lot during regular museum hours. The chains are dropped each evening at 5 pm for your convenience and are raised again at 10 pm.

For those of you bringing your dogs to enjoy the grounds, please bring along scoop bags and be sure to clean up after your pet! Please help keep the grounds clean for your neighbors and for the thousands of schoolchildren and general public who come to enjoy the Village. If you have forgotten to bring your disposable bags, there is a limited supply of “scoop bags” located in a dispenser near the gate on the eastern side of the property at Nancy’s Garden.

We hope you are enjoying your special Neighbors member benefits. Thank you again for your support of Dallas Heritage Village.

Sincerely,

Mary Guthrie
