Located at the corner of Marilla and Harwood Streets just south of downtown Dallas

Admission: Free to the public; no charge for activities
Cooking: Free cooking demonstrations at 10 & 11:30a.m. on the Pearl Plaza with chef Chad Houser of Parigi Restaurant
Features: Discover where the Dallas Farmers Market farmers are located and the products they have to offer. Dallas Office of Environmental Quality will be available with information on how to recycle and Trinity River Corridor Project will be here to show concepts of the new corridor project. Visit the Dallas Library ‘Every Child Ready to Read’ promoting literacy for children up to 5 years old.

Kid’s
Activities: The children’s area will be blooming with activity, featuring face painting and a caricature artist. Visit the Dallas Farmers Market Children’s Booth to plant your very own Sunflower and make a Pine Cone Bird Feeder.

Strolling Entertainment: See the Giant Walking Ivy and Flower and shake hands with a ‘live’ banana and strawberry.
Education: Planting and growing information will be available from the Dallas Master Gardeners.
Music: Musical entertainment will be provided by the Herbie Johnson Jazz Quartet
