Upcoming Conferences to Save Energy and Conserve Water

Attached is information (in both English and Spanish) for residents of District 2 concerning some upcoming conferences and free kits that are available to save energy and conserve water.

As part of the Dallas Sustainable Skylines Initiative, the City is offering a free home energy efficiency and water conservation kit. Homeowners and renters (with landlord authorization) are available for the kits.

Attendees need to pre-register for the event by registering for a conference for a short educational presentation, which will last approximately one hour. Pre-registration can be effected in three different ways: through the Green Dallas Website, by email, or by mail.

The kits include products and tips that can be used in residents' homes to help them live green and save green. Because permission is needed to look at residents' electricity meters in order to see the impact the kits will have, a copy of the most recent electric bill will need to be included. There are only a limited number of kits available, and when they are gone, there will be no more.
